I'm loving this weekend because I actually get to enjoy it! I'm going to dinner with my best friend, getting a chance to hang with my mentees, relaxing... It's good all around. I hope you get to enjoy yours as well.
Today I am thankful for wisdom. Last night at my church's Leadership Team meeting we enjoyed a sermon on allowing the Holy Spirit to lead your footsteps. When you allow the Holy Spirit to lead, supernatural things will happen! The man of God brought so much revelation, I have to go back through my notes and reprocess it all!
I love it when I get to enjoy new gems from the Word! It's so amazing to hear someone bring forth a Word that opens your eyes to a whole new realm in God. Thank you, Lord, for using your vessels to relay your virtues to us!
I'm also thankful for self-control. God is helping me shore up a weak spot. I'm determined not to fall. It's hard shutting this flesh down at times, but the reward is so great, I can't give in! When I see the big-picture vision that God has for my life, my little bitty feelings mean nothing. I'll pass. I can wait for the Promise.
